OFS JocelynH Moderator: Although this book is hard to get hold of, it is well worth the effort. It is set in an alpine village in central Europe which is recovering from foreign occupation, but the scars and horrors are not far below the surface. Very memorable and gripping reading about the good and evil in mankind.
